Using the Flow View

The flow view is a visual representation of the flow of your exchanges, variables and arguments. While using the flow view, there are a few tricks that can make it easier to use.

Flow View

Selecting Multiple Nodes

Selecting multiple nodes can be done in two ways:

  • Hold Ctrl and click on the nodes you want to select.
  • Hold Shift and and drag a box around the nodes you want to select.

When you have selected multiple nodes, you can move them around by dragging one of the selected nodes or apply actions to all selected nodes by right-clicking one of the selected nodes or using hotkeys.

Hotkeys

Not all actions can be applied to all nodes, but if you have nodes selected that can be affected by the action, the action will be applied to all selected nodes if you use the following hotkeys:

  • Ctrl + E (Windows/Linux) or ⌘ + E (macOS) - Enable selected nodes
  • Ctrl + D (Windows/Linux) or ⌘ + D (macOS) - Disable selected nodes
  • Delete - Delete selected nodes

Control Menu

In the bottom right corner of the flow view, there is a control menu that can be used to manipulate the view, here you can (from top to bottom):

  • Zoom In
  • Zoom Out
  • Reset Zoom and Pan
  • Disable moving and selecting nodes
  • Reset the node positions to their original positions
  • Hide / Show node edges
  • Hide / Show disabled nodes
